Review: At first this book felt like a fairy tale re telling, but shortly after Red arrived in Wayward the book became an original and exciting tale. The story of the alpha huntress is completely unique. I'm intrigued by the magic and the connection to Wolfgang. I wish we had time to uncover all of the half-truths that Red was told.
There was a lot of action, twists and turns, and the plot moved at a good pace.
The one thing that bothered me was the fact that Red and her friends have such detailed memories from when they were two and three years old - I just didn't buy it.
However, I enjoyed their friendship and the adventure they shared. There is definitely potential for some romance, and I’d be interested to see where things go, because it definitely feels like there is a second book coming.
I received a copy of this book for free from the author in exchange for an honest review.
